Cross Stitch Kits

I've been working on this kit that I bought at a local shop in Edmonton (Called Craft Connection) since about May. It's a Tinkerbell Thomas Kinkade kit, and my plan was to have it done by Mother's day, or my Mother's birthday. It's almost August and I'm just about 3/4 of the way done. I've done some bead sprite art and other stitch projects on the side because sometimes the extreme detail makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Also, none of the threads are labelled, so I really only have the option to do this during the day because light blue looks similar to light grey blue under kitchen lighting.

Anyways, I'll show you some progress shots.

I'm going to keep everything up to date cross stitch wise. Unemployment keeps the hands busy with this project. I also learned I never want to stitch with pearl or gold filaments again.

Being recently unemployed has given me time to actually kick my ass into gear and finish some crafts that "I'd get back to working on." I figured that while I work on projects I could post about progress ans share some completed works, as well as share others ideas that I like to think I'll add to the pile o' crafts. Stay tuned!
